Wasn’t Larry Lawson one of our municipal prosecutors?
He was the Superior Court judge who found for the plaintiffs in the beachfront redevelopment case and pavilion bond cases in 2013 and 2014.
#1 & #2 – Just another lawyer/liar (not necessarily in that order)…
“Arbitrary, capricious and unreasonable” were his words describing Belmar’s actions in the matter of the lawsuit. Sounds accurate to me.
The only things on their hardly viewed website is how wonderful they all are. Kumbaya and party on!

That the declaration of the beachfront as a area in need of redevelopment was illegal

And folks please remember the role the appointed members of the Belmar Planning Board ( like Brian NoGovern played in the unlawful designation. This summer, it will be happening again, when those pawns like Burke and NoGovern vote on extending the seaport redevelopment area to 16th Ave. without legal criteria ( like blight ) being established.
