The real victims are the residents that have to pay for all of it. At what point does it all stop? When is enough, enough?    Not that I am defending some of the salaries of the police, but if I’m not mistaken that includes overtime. And by overtime, bar posts (paid by bar owners) and road jobs (paid by companies hiring the police. A friend of mine is a police officer in a neighboring town and told me that’s why some officers in his town have higher salaries than some. Again not defending!!

Lets see how much actually is road jobs, bar security, pay from grants and the REAL overtime that the people of Belmar are paying. We can take that REAL overtime and compare it to the Lake Como payment. Guarantee Belmar is still taking a HUGE loss to the taxpayers.
