I feel a 4% payroll increase is unacceptable considering we had a pretty substantial tax increase.

It’s official. NOTHING has changed. The salaries and overtime is out of control. I guess the rumors are true, Belmar employees can make up their own overtime. The real victims are the residents that have to pay for all of it. At what point does it all stop? When is enough, enough? The town should be taken over by the State of New Jersey of the Prosecutor’s Office.

$140,000, $160,000, $174,000 ….. to be a cop in Belmar? This is ridiculous!

I want to thank my friend Mayor Walsifer and Council, my buddy BA Kirschbum, the CFO and all the taxpayers of Belmar for their lack of oversight and for letting me do what I wanted. I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous when they first got elected. I know you were all appalled at my last years salary so i really wanted to sock it to you this year. My $224,328.03 salary, not including a new vehicle and other perks, is my parting shot to all of you. I want you to know I purposely failed the Chiefs test, (whaddya think I’m stupid or sumthin) so I could continue to rob the borough of all my self serving overtime. As far as the other members of my department making astronomical salaries, so what, who cares! I don’t have to pay for it, you do! Ha Ha Ha!
Well enough for now, I have a plane to catch to Hawaii. I’m looking to purchase some land. If you ever need me to come back in the future to rob the taxpayers money in any way, please let me know. Aloha!

Not that I am defending some of the salaries of the police, but if I’m not mistaken that includes overtime. And by overtime, bar posts (paid by bar owners) and road jobs (paid by companies hiring the police. A friend of mine is a police officer in a neighboring town and told me that’s why some officers in his town have higher salaries than some. Again not defending!!

Apparently this regime has no intentions of cutting costs. People, bend over and prepare yourself for yet another tax increase, all in the name of Matt. Where are all you Wlasifer backers? Cricket. You got exactly what you deserved. Layoff some of these people. The job market is great right now. You will be doing them a favor.

You know darn well Hiseman didn’t work any bar door overtimes or road jobs. All his excessive salary and overtime lands on the backs of the taxpayers. He obviously doesn’t care nor does the administration.

OPRA a break down of specific pay, over and above, the employee’s salary. Lets see how much actually is road jobs, bar security, pay from grants and the REAL overtime that the people of Belmar are paying. We can take that REAL overtime and compare it to the Lake Como payment. Guarantee Belmar is still taking a HUGE loss to the taxpayers.

#9- The policing deal with Lake Como was a political shafting. We are now paying more for less services in this town, as I predicted. Take that to the bank. We are subsidizing the safety of Lake Como, socialism at it’s best.
#8- The contracts may well have been done under Matt, however that does not preclude this present bunch of Politicians from making cuts to the budget. They now have a huge opportunity to save bookoo bucks when this cone man leaves. Wait to see if they continue to make promotions to un-needed positions and hire more personel. These guys will continue to blame the prior admin. till the day they get voted out. Vote these idiots out.
And where are all the Wally supporters, CRICKET. Open your big mouths now.

Hey admin. Did you censor all of those Wally supporters?? Or are they too busy working two jobs to pay for their property taxes. Better start applying for a third, tax increases again on the horizon. Apparently they can’t spend it fast enough with these salaries. Unbelievable.

Certainly, many of these positions are overpaid but the worst thing about it is that these poor people getting these salaries are cheating themselves out of the feeling of accomplishment that comes with doing a job well. What I mean is that most of these people are aware that their “jobs” don’t warrant the money they’re getting but don’t care because their only object is to acquire money. So yes, the citizenry is being cheated, but don’t forget, the people who do a job only for money are the ones who are cheated the most.

Could be that the beach workers risk sunburn and possible skin cancer as a type of penance for their easy gigs, although I doubt it. Karma will work it all out eventually.
