Christie Wins Iowa Poll…………

Of Democrats!

In today’s Asbury Park Press:

TRENTON – Gov. Chris Christie’s presidential hopes start with an increasingly uphill climb in Iowa, according to the latest poll.

The Des Moines Register/Bloomberg PoliticsIowa Poll results, published Sunday, showed Christie was the first choice for 4 percent of likely Republican caucus-goers, which tied him for eighth place in the still-developing field. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker led with 15 percent, just ahead of U.S. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky at 14 percent.

Christie was the second choice of another 3 percent of Republicans; the combined total of 7 percent put him in 11th place. In the Iowa Poll done last October, Christie was at a combined 11 percent, good for ninth place…………………………..

…………………………Christie did lead the Republican pack by one measure. When Democratic caucus-goers were read a list of 16 potential Republican candidates and asked which one or two would be the best leader if the GOP won the White House in 2016, 20 percent chose Christie. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was at 19 percent. Romney was at 15 percent. No one else topped 8 percent.

Christie will never be president. He lacks credibility.

Elizabeth Warren should run. She’s after the Wall st. sharks and she is a very smart woman.
