Thank you Dave, for recording meetings. Been listening to them for the last several months and at the end of each the same thought comes to my mind so I decided to share it. Every Committee report sounds like a report of a social club. Why is there no mention of the financial status of the Borough? Why is there no mention of project status in the Borough? Why is there no mention of any upcoming items that the governing body is working on such as ordinance changes, etc.? These are things that I want to know about and the governing body should be reporting about and discussing at its meetings. It’s a travesty that residents have to ask these questions and most times being chastised, denied a decent answer, and then called an obstructionist. They were asked about the dredging project and no one had a clue. Hey governing body, do you have a quarterly financial report? What are you doing with OUR MONEY? These meetings are worthless.

    My three observations:

The good project news reported was about the Anchor Tavern on Main Street, yep, another bar, even though their emphasis is on serving food. Right, I thought the profit of a restaurant was in the serving of alcohol.

What about Blackburn? All she can do is organize another fundraiser?

And lastly, if there is not any “good” news, nothing gets reported. Nothing to brag about.

I am glad to see that Mr. Dilberger showed up with his unique point of view. He always makes a good point and sees what most do not. I wish the administration would listen to him.

#3,#5 and Tom D. The plans have been available for the Chef’s Marina extravaganza.
In fact the blog posted them long ago. In short Marina Drive ( a County recorded Road )
will be diverted. It is the paved road that now has all the construction vehicles on it. It will run along side of Rt. 35, with entrance at exits next to the light.

#6 – Correct, this means a total mess in the making. We will know for sure if there’s a mess shortly when the construction continues, the 9th Ave. pier restaurant reopens and the fishermen come back heavily starting next month.
