In a ceremony similar to the start of construction of the boardwalk nearly three years ago, residents and local officials signed the first piling for the Taylor Pavilion that was then driven into the ground. But unlike that first ceremony, no state or federally elected officials were in attendance on Wednesday.

Did this really warrant the Marina Sign only advertising the ceremony? All other community advertisements were taken off (hopefully only for the day) but still these organizations that rely on donations/special events lost a day of advertising… yes I am still shaking my head!

My dream would come true if Lake Como got fixed and homes were out of danger. But a building is so much more important to the community. So glad our priorities are in order.

How come I never received an RFP from Belmar, LC, Spring Lake to Dreher Lake Como? I know the outfall pipe pipe dream has been alluded to during capaign stump (s) and threats but the muck and mire are growing in that watershed by the minute. Environmental safety first…dredge.
