Belmar borough attorney Mike DuPont, who is a Red Bank councilman and is running for re-election there, needs a new running mate. In a video made public this week, his running mate, Council President Art Murphy goes on an apparently drunken rant about “hippie mother xxxxxxs” who don’t have enough money to pay to park in the borough. More Monmouth Musings is reporting that Murphy has withdrawn from the race and that the Red Bank Democrats were looking for a replacement.

Ironically there is a gay connection.
One councilman very out Ed Zipprich married his gay partner in 2013 and another in the closet. That’s what you get for thinking you could change the subject GIRB.
I could care less what someone does behind closed doors just don’t try to jam those ideas down my throat. When will there be a Heterosexual Pride Parade??
Why can’t we pay our taxes and utility bills by credit card? Red Bank offers their resident/property owners that option. All the borough has to do is find out RB’s vendor information and away we go.
