Now your talkin Councilman Schneck. It would guarantee Belmar property values would increase substantially. Chef’s hasn’t even broken ground and already it’s tired. I am sure all the Irish-Americans would support a gay parade in Belmar.

Hmmm…then some of those handsome fellows who visit Asbury Park may come to Belmar. Property values may indeed rise if another ‘element’ takes root in this town. (Not discriminating about the women. I am an equal opportunity critic.)
A hip building like that would add some cachet to the town. More than say, the pygmy palm trees!
Belmar is ripe for families to flee due to the excessive partying all over town. If so, like Asbury the gay population may start buying property
7. A better solution is for Belmar to become a “sanctuary city” for binational gay and lesbian couples. Currently only 19 counties allow. The U.S. is not one of them. If we had more couples marry and buy homes here, less parties, bars and less children to have to educate. That would equal an economic. Plus the town would look better for sure.
