All kinds of stories are posted on this blog, but never anything positive. Even news of possibly bad things happening are posted. But never good things. Like the bustling downtown, the holiday event held at Pyanoe Plaza, the fact that properties in Belmar are in demand, local young adults accomplishing things at athletically and other ways, organizations that carry out charitable works, the many parks for children, excellent library programs, I could go on and on. Your focus is always on focusing on what is believed to be wrong in town. I read about Chris Brandn getting a plaque of appreciation from the women’s club. What happens is negative stuff imprinted and commenters who are against the town take it to another level of the negative. Maybe I am not understanding everything. Maybe that’s the purpose of this blog . The investigate and come up with bad things. It’s a free country and people can do whatever they want. But in the new year maybe some positive things can be printed also. For a balance sneak in good stuff.

Maybe something to watch for Belmar. Good News?

This website is way more interesting than the dead and buried Belmar Views or whatever that site was called. That thing read like the Grange Report. This site is lively, informative and a venue for discussion, pro or con. Admin plants the seeds and commenters take off. Nothing wrong with that.

Wasn’t the Honorable Zimmer defamed on MSNBC in the Matt/Costabile interview? I um didn’t hear anything; I think; I may be wrong
