I thought that Governor Goofball directly warned Djais about this stuff earlier in the summer based on the videos all over social media. With campaign contributions and the Governor’s many visits to Djais and photo ops maybe Frank thinks he does not need to follow the NJ State mandates.

Murphy chastises patrons about social distancing in line outside of D’jais, while 4-6 Belmar cops (including a Sargent on overtime) stand there all night and witness it all.

#2 – Let me guess, the sergeant* was Michael Yee? This looks great for a guy who was just promoted as a supervisor. LOL!

Amazing that Belmar PD officers, who are paid to supervise these nightclubs just stand there checking out the scene.

No more Belmar PD at these nightclubs. They should hire Monmouth County Sheriffs just like with animal houses.

Murphy once again out there cherry picking! He isn’t going to do anything to the bars with 4 week remaining in the summer. HE talks a great game but he will not shut them down. If really wanted to go after a nightclub/bar that wasn’t on the nj.com report, he would go after Headliner and that outdoor pool they have. Social distancing is non existing over there

6 – It is in the police union contract that the Belmar Officers are given the first opportunity at overtime before any other agency. Ask your mayor and council.

Law enforcement officers can only enforce the LAW … Murphy’s Executive Orders are not LAW … if the Governor was serious about this stuff, he should get the legislature to pass a ‘Knucklehead Law’

#9-I absolutely agree! If all these people think it’s the job of any PD to enforce social distancing all day long they would then complain that the real crime was not be addressed. It’s the responsibility of the owners of the establishment to enforce these guidelines. Again as #9 stated it is NOT A LAW

#9 and#10- It’s not the law per se. Then I ask you what laws are Howell PD and other towns using when charging these home owners with these huge get togethers?????

Owners set the rules in their own house. Remember when there was no admittance withouta collared shirt? What about wearing flip flops. If it’s a flop joint what else would you expect? Law suits speak, ask Jerry.

Is not following the NJ state guidelines a violation of their liquor license and if so where is the ABC to enforce?

14 – Good luck with that one. D’jais is untouchable. They can sue and close down a gym in Bellmawr for allowing 10-20 patrons in, but our Belmar petri dish for Covid-19 flourishes. You just can’t make this stuff up.

ABC enforces, selective enforcement, not blatant violations in the name of health, safety and Governor Orders. Direction comes all the way from the top! Silly knucklehead, campaign donations protect the donors!

Sadly #16 I guess you are right with pay to play alive and well from Trenton to Belmar. I am surprised the Governor even had the audacity to call out Djais by name in his Knucklehead report. I’ll bet the Governor got a stern phone call and rebuke from owner and political lead Billy Luddecke over this. ADMIN do you remember Common Sense posting those lovely pictures of the Governor and Billy out in front of the club and inside doing a shot.

Bouncers control the admittance line; Bill controls the Bouncers. Governor controls the Economic Engine. Djais owns the party.
