   Well, if Matt had done the RIGHT THING in having a Police Staffing Survey done by an independent firm several months ago as requested (when the whole merger with Lake Como fiasco began) we would know exactly how our PD should be structured. Without that, Matt can continue on, nilly willy, handing out favors with strings attached. The only righteous act was hiring Nicole, who by the way was almost passed over when Matt handed out favors in the hiring of two of the soon to be laid off Lake Como Officers, before the merger plans were even made public. And no, two captains are not needed. And are there any Lts. being made? Seems like a major re-structuring with little or no justification other than Matt taking care of Buddies.

   Who is getting promoted to Lieutenant then to replace them? What ever happened to the 5 officers they needed to hire for the Como deal?

   Why would you promote two Captains if you only need one? One Lieutenant is obviously senior (Cox) to the other one (Tina). Why make two Captains then? Because they would be considered equal and then Tina can be promoted over Cox! The Chief therefore gets his pet promoted when he retires! Wake up and open your eyes Belmar, see the truth.
