Permit Ranger Comes Up Empty

Received this missive yesterday from Belmar’s masked Permit Ranger:

Attached Dave is the very current (today) response from Records-D.E.P. SEE PAGE 3 BOTTOM.
As I wrote you previously, Kim in the NJ DEP Land Use Office had originally photocopied all the original 2010 CAFRA Plans. When we did not receive the copies which we believed were the 2016 amended plans and permit applications, we contacted her. She called last week and told us that she finally read the OPRA request for post Jan. 2016 stuff and told us that there were none.
Just to make sure, Keith at DEP called Toms River and they all confer that as of today, no amended CAFRA Plans- Belmar Marina and Maclearie Park, as well as permit applications have been submitted to NJ. DEP Land Use Dept.

Per the timeline you published:
Maser finished all and billed for revisions and permit applications end of January.
Colleen and Maser promised new plans and permit applications early December 2015 and again at the meeting with the DEP at Borough Hall in March.

The Permit Ranger

Below is the response to the OPRA request sent by P.R. to the DEP.

Probe DEP – I’d guess someone there has a deal with the mayor. The Gov probably still owes him for throwing Dawn Zimmer under the bus. Jersey politics smells from the top down. In my observant opinion. How can the mayor be expected to be above any suspicion since he is fighting so hard to be a sleaze, to loosen the pay-to-play law? Ethically challenged, I’d call them all.
