The Borough Clerk- no longer posts payroll with Bills Paid List. Dupont made after taxes were taken out, $34,000. a year at the end of 2013. In 2014 every employee got a very nice raise. Ad his $90,000. as Treasurer of NJ Turnpike and his salary as municipal attorney for Sayreville and his Public Defender job with Marlboro.

Who cares what DuPont made outside of Belmar? Let’s look at the cost savings or increase to our taxpayers by shedding his position, and replacing him with McManimon & Scotland.

We need to immediately file a malpractice suit against Dupont, this is costing taxpayers money. It will be covered under his errors and omissions insurance coverage, actually just a claim no big deal. But Belmar should not pay for this error.

What everyone is not mentioning is the Judge also found the explanatory statement misleading, inaccurate and influential. Matt and Colleen trying to win an election with false information. We will be in debt from these pavilions and taxpayers need to know the amount they will be responsible to pay before they vote on the election.

    # 4. You are absolutely right. Even arbitration. There must be creepy reasons why this administration doesn’t invoke ERRORS AND OMMISSION claims on all the errors that have befallen the taxpayers

Going by this it looks like the Borough Clerk doesn’t do much at all ? I thought anything having to due with elections etc would fall under her domain. I would ask why is Robin doing the clerk job ? You have to love how Matt only states part of what the Judge said. On a second note it is starting to like the Harmons will prevail soon too.

Robbin is in exile- tax collector of Spring Lake Boro, or haven’t you heard.
Colleen had problems with her. Surprised? Therefore she could not possibly be doing April’s job like destroying employee files and all the other demanding jobs of a Borough Clerk.
April’s job is so demanding that the last minutes approved by council and posted on Belmar.com were August. Speaking of April, what does her husband really do as recreation director?

Unfortunately, there is no “whistle blower” protection for the municipal clerk or the CFO …. they both know the difference between right or wrong …. but, its either the regime’s way (rewarded) or the highway (exiled).

Sometimes comments here are too personal and critical of a person characteristically and irrelevant to Belmar’s issues. I have done it myself. This blog is Belmar’s only hope of providing accurate information to the public. It is a very important time, the election is upcoming and the bond referendum question is critical to our future debt accumulation. It would be best to stop all personal and silly attacks and keep to the facts. If a new reader comes on the blog I want them to see intelligent, thought provoking posts so they are inspired to continue reading.

#12 Eugene not to worry. Hillary thought she could get away with her email escapades till the freedom of information act got her. These bunch of ego driven fools will eventually make a mistake and this will all end eventually. In the meantime we must make sure that Dave wins by a landslide.

    What is obvious to me:
    1) Mayor Doherty is not trustworthy
    2) The council members only rubber stamp what he wants
    3) Many people are duped that Belmar is moving in a positive direction
    4) Lots of beer helps everything(?)
    5) Belmar Guy is getting even with his former teacher
    6) The form of government in Belmar should be changed to a non-partisan one
    7) Dave must win the election

#18 Belmar Guy was no doubt a student of mine during the last few years of my teaching experience at Belmar School-as his previous references state-honestly, I had no problem with any of my students when I did small-group instruction, which I loved……..students who struggled received almost individual instruction in needed areas. Not only did I get along well with the students, I also had good relationships with the parents of those students. Feedback tells me that many of those students went on to colleges and are leading successful lives. So I don’t know who Belmar Guy is, but I intended to find out. Also, I think he is striving for attention for those who would be considered to be my opposition…..he wishes to impress them and receive attention from that segment of our community….. This is the only way he can do this-through insulting me at his every whim…..so, I guess I should feel sorry for him-as he’s chosen me for his vehicle of acceptance…..while this m might be considered an inappropirate comment, the issues was referenced above in #18..also, since Belmar Guy gets to comment about me, I think it’s fair to say that I’ll continue to do the same about him- if he’s permitted to post about me, then I should be able to do the same in reurn…althougt most don’t know who he is, he feels empowered by doing what he’s doing…

Ms. Deicke, yes, you are a wonderful person. Nothing was said by #18 negative about you. You are only empowering whomever this Belmar Guy is by replying. Let us know your position on issues. Would be interesting to hear.

#21-Thanks for the compliment-I just wanted to state my perspective-I’m fully aware that #18 posted a statement that isn’t objectionable -but my opinion is that Belmar Guy is not trying to get even, as the #18 list states, he’s striving for attention-so she and I differ on this point-Ms.Perspicacity and I have had our differences in the past, but I think we’ve reconciled them…#21-your first sentence is unclear to me-this isn’t a criticism, it’s that I don’t understand it-thanks…also, I’ve tried to ignore Belmar Guy’s comments, but they continue and get worse…..so, I’m a bit on the attack-Please enumerate the issues on which you’d like me to comment-
