The 11 Day Reports

All the blank stuff is edited out.  Click on any of the images to see larger.n1n2n3n4n5The information below was actually due with the 29 day report.
n6ordThis is why when I published the 29 day report a couple of weeks ago I was wondering where all the donations were from the Sept 23 fundraiser at La Dolce Vida.  I also wondered where the food that was served and the use of the facility were listed.  The campaign would have either had to show it as an expenditure…which they haven’t…or they would have needed to show it as an in-kind contribution…which they haven’t.  So I still wonder.

Anyway, next is Mr. Burke’s 11 day report:b1b2b3b4b5b6Tom, instead of making a spreadsheet for the Borough of the contributions that were less than the state $300 reporting threshold, simply reported everything to the state.

I am voting for you Dave. Through your administration of Common Sense for Belmar you’ve shown yourself to be a man of intellect, a high moral code, courage, tenacity, and consistency. On Common Sense you have respected opposing views or unflattering posts of commentators, and have lived your conviction of the right of free speech without feeling compelled to belittle, ban or delete such views. You have challenged and shredded falsehoods published in informational articles, letters, financial reports and other ‘news’ coming from Belmar’s Mayor, administrator, and Council members that were riddled with lies and overt attempts to manipulate the residents of Belmar. Your efforts have awoken the sleepy town of Belmar to become vigilant and active to our common good. Of great significance to me is that you created and have administered Common Sense in exactly the same way for years. You attend each of the Mayor/Council meetings, record the sessions, and post them for all Belmar residents to view. You are not creating a personna of a concerned and involved citizen for an election, you ARE concerned, you ARE involved, and you have demonstrated and innate spirit of service to the community that is genuine. Yes, you have my vote.

Ditto #1. Dave won’t take any dives.

Reviewing donors to your opponent’s war chest. It’s interesting to note that there were two ($500.) donations from a liquor licensed establishment here in Belmar. If that donor(s) present through their corporations before the ABC, council, planning or zoning boards upon which one of their candidates sits, does that candidate have to excuse themselves from voting for or against said donor so there would not be a question of impropriety?

Good question. I guess there is going to be a meeting November 17, the night of my surgery. Maybe Seebeck will do it for me.
