Having a technical problem today with WordPress and get a HTTP error when I try to load jpeg files to my media library.  Unfortunately for me, but fortunately for him, my tech ace is on vacation in Europe so it may be a few days before I can publish any sort of pictures up here.

This will not prevent me from bringing you information I think is important though and I do have two things for you to look at today.

First is a nj.com story: Here’s how much money Shore towns raked in off beach badges last summer

Turns out compared to nearly every other beach town in the state, Belmar has a very large rake.

Another thing worth checking is the Vallario for Belmar Facebook page.  Josh Vallario taped part of the mayor’s meeting this morning with the slip renters at the marina and has his tape posted there.  Sneak preview…paid parking for self-parking, not just the valets, may be coming.  Slip renters would get a free pass for one car each.

Doherty is no Trump, when it comes to the art of the deal. Redevelopment plan/Belmar called for redevelopers to pay their part for needed parking. Like nuclear Iran and Obama, Doherty was so eager to make a deal, he gave it away, now we all have to pay the price. What makes the Marina part of this story is that it is all GreenAcres parkland which necessitates public access. This relates to the Brick Twp. Chef’s post last week. Lease agreements on Green Acres land.

60/40 split? Who decides what? DCA is not respected by Belmar’s Mayor or Administration so where does the public money go?

Is it true that “bar talk” boa$ter said he was going to take over Belmar’s Tourism position as Tourism Czar when his term is finished. Is Mary on her way OUT?

Can’t embed Facebook vids on WordPress. At least I don’t know how to. I put a better link up and the 2nd vid works. Might be getting an audiotape of the whole thing.

Listen to the video that Josh took. It just shows what a bunch of amateurs the BA and Mayor are with no experience. Way over their head and they just laugh and snicker and joke. Something like “We are learning and want your input”. Where was the outreach for input before all this began. The damage is done and they offered no real solutions. Let the exodus of boat owners begin from Belmar for good.

And Josh does not know how many lawsuits Belmar lost? Is he really paying attention? Shape up Josh, we want to vote FOR you, not AGAINST the other guy.

The direct approach in politics may be better. Say directly what you mean, in other words. Save the more advanced methods of rhetoric for later.
