Which town pays for the police officer’s time while testifying about the HEROIN BUSTS in the Lake Como Court?

Well, now everyone knows what a “puke letter” is. Hoorah for free speech! Will there be an open forum at the ‘vomitorium’?

Where’s our Administrator, Colleen, these days? Is she sick or censured because of all these lawsuits? Mayor, take it easy commenting about rumors about you at a public meeting and degrading bloggers. Use that info in a debate, your social media, or at a news conference if you have to. Or, join the blog and put the record straight. Doesn’t belong at a business meeting. Grow up and try to be professional and not joke around adding to your rumor list. Then Ms. Claire has to chime in referring to this blog and its comments. Oh my gosh. And, the reply the Mayor made to the lady who asked what would happened if Lake Como doesn’t pay, that the Borough would stop police service. Don’t think that’s happening people. Plus, don’t understand why the Borough doesn’t have to comply with the recent lawsuit about pay to play. Anyone know what’s going on?

Left liberals such as the Mayor, the council, and supporters can’t justify their illegal, unethical practices so they just attack others. That’s what they are known for and that’s what they do, ie deny, or change the subject, make fun of someone, try to discredit them.

Actually I know several very honest decent liberals in Belmar. Just not on the Council.

Admin I was referring to the far left liberals, not the usual somewhat normal liberal.

Mayor is such a thin-skinned baby. Last night was not the first time he has gone on and on about rumors and such, making long winded personal comments instead of keeping it all business. He needs some Big Boy Pants.

It appears that DEP is letting him get away with his shenanigan, so what does he have to worry about? There are no current rumors about uprisings or protests either, so he is flying high. If there were, the police would be on alert around Borough Hall when there is a meeting, not attending to busting drug dealers and such criminals.

I suppose if all persons who comment here were required to use their own actual names, spoke their opinions of the current administration which are objectionable to a certain watchdog, there would be porta-potties and throw-up buckets in the driveways of those brave and honest individuals. All hail pseudonyms, fake names, screen names, etc.!

#12 Flower power they want to know who is against them. Notice they have no intention of using other people’s ideas, look how the site for pavilion comments went. They are a vicious bunch when it comes to people who disagree with them. I could only imagine what they say about the comment makers who object to their antics, and sue them in court.

NJNG is the most reliable utility in Belmar …. compared to JCP&L, Cablevision, Verizon, DPW fire, water and sewers …. we have standing pilots on the stove, oven, heat and the hot water heater …. the guy across the street has a gas lamp …. never quits …. always there …. now, most home emergency generators connect to NJNG.

Natural gas is BTU bargain and Belmar relies on NJNG to wheel it …. unlike the naysayers …. I support a due-process delivery rate increase.

When you live in a town that doesn’t allow public dissent without ridicule, how else are the frustrated public supposed to vent. We are lucky to have this blog. What is shared here is vital to our free speech and freedom of information. The depth of coverage may not make the administration happy but maybe they should take into consideration the content of the blog posts , not the occasional rude or distasteful comment. The person who is brave enough to stand in front of the mayor and council that does not conform to the ” everything is wonderful, positive,” routine, has a right to be there without being reprimanded and belittled. Almost every council meeting starts with a tirade from Matt Dorehty about this blogs comment section, ( never about the actual posts and content of the post themselves). I say thank you to Common Sense for Belmar admin for being a champion of free speech and sharing information that we otherwise would never know. I believe that is what living in a democratic society should be all about. Our mayor has open access to public media, television, radio. The average person does not.

Bullet point responses to any of our valid queries will never be answered from the dias. We all know we can go to the video tapes of all the council meetings BELMAR because they were secured from tampering just the same as the millions who viewed the belmar doherty mayor throwing his colleague, Hoboken Mayor Zimmer under the bus live on MSNBC.

Sorry, but we were in Florida and missed this meeting. My congrats to this Blog and Admin. Dave. for being the “source” of rumors. I also applaud the 19 Belmar residents who filed complaints with DEP ( the one’s I know about. If I were present I would list every violation, type, date ect. the Mayor dismissed and made light of. PERHAPS the next council meeting.

Does anyone know why the Harmon Brothers were denied an agenda posting at the May 3rd council meeting. Belmar Police investigation of the license transfer across the street was received by the Borough of Belmar Administration by May 1st.How much are we going to have to pay the Harmons for more loss of business this season. It’s your money folks; he doesn’t have to pay the punitive legal judgment and fees out of his own pocket because we have deep pockets, yeah right

#19. Mad Matt uses Clinton play book. There is NO there, there. There is review by ythe FBI into the Clinton emails and server, not an FBI investigation. No there, there. There
is no attempt to hurt the Harmons and cost taxpayers more in legal fees. No there, there. Residents filing complaints with DEP for the borough doing projects without permits are wasting there time, cause there is NO there there. Violating the civil rights of Belmar voters via a petition to restore pay-to-play law, No there there.
