Of course Lake Como taxes are going down while Belmars skyrockets. We do everything for them. Clean their streets, hold their court, school their kids, let them participate in our recreation programs, library, fire dept, first aid and the biggest financial gain for them and loss for us, police their town.
There should be no Lake Como just one bigger Belmar.

A bill for LC residents only parking issuance by BELMAR Pd should be processed as an additional cost of services provided.

Time to defund Belmar PD and pay Wall PD to handle our crap. We could save 3 mill. a year and our taxes could go down like Lake Como and SLH. We got screwed with our PD deal. We are subsidizing police service in LC.

I remember Carvelli was a huge proponent of taking over lake como policing. I believe his brother being on their council might of had something to do with it.

There was a small group fighting against it. They lost.

politicians screwing their voters and are still loved by them. Battered wife syndrome? Yes Belmar taxes are going up again. I’m sure it’s Dohertys fault. Maybe it takes 3 years to fix everything, or is it 4? Wait Mark was on council for 4 years. I better shut up, the mob will be coming for me for asking questions.

#10- I’m sure it was, totally political at our expense. Brian W. and Matt were both in the midst of failed attempts for county Freeholder, trying to look good at consolidating services. All well and good but Belmar got screwed. How do you explain property taxes going thru the roof as towns that your bailed out with police services continue to lower property tax rates. This present crew is as bad as the prior, just in different ways. Party doesn’t matter. Small town politics at it’s worse.

#14 – Sir, what is going on is the result of the new manner of living – very interesting. What did anybody think was going to happen allowing people to be taught, 2+2 = 73.9 from infancy or any other answer you may want other than 4? FASCINATING!!!
